DEADLINES

January 30, 2001 - receipt of the applications for participation and resumes (up to 15 lines) of the reports included.

March 25, 2001 - receipt of the approved reports and participation fees transferred to bank account of the Bulgarian Scientist Union - Bourgas branch.

We will consider only those applicants, whose materials are postmarked with the appropriate dates and who have paid their fee up to the above deadline.

The Organisation Committee provides free reservations for participants who have stated their request.

 

REPORT REQUIREMENTS

Participants are allowed to present only one report. Co-authors may take part in up to two reports. Participants who have paid the regular fee should limit their reports, including graphs, tables, bibliography and resume, up to 12 pages. The reports should be written on Word 7.0 for Windows and saved on 3.5” diskette as a doc file. The file should be no more than 1.3 MB and should not be archived. The following instructions concern the formatting of the reports on Word for Windows.

Page Set-up:

Margins: Top - 2.54 cm; Bottom - 2.54 cm; Left - 3,17 cm; Right - 3,17 cm

Paper Size: A4

Format:

Font - Times New Roman; Font Style - Regular; Size - 11.

Paragraph: Line Spacing All: Single; Alignment: Justified; The other options should be zero. The pages of the reports should not be numbered. The title of the report should be centred and bold. Under it, in small letters, should be placed the names of the authors (Given name, Middle initial, Family name), names and addresses of organisations which they present.

Scientific degrees and titles should be omitted. After a blank row the title, the authors’ names and the organisations which they present, should be written in the same manner in English.

After two blank rows an abstract in English up to 15 lines is placed. Please, use Italics for this abstract. Key words in Italics are put on new rows

Place the main text after a blank row and don’t use Tabs. Leave blanks only if necessary.

Tables, graphs and figures should be integrated in the text document, in spite of the software used for their presentation. The text under them should be centred and in size 10. The text within the tables, graphs and figures should be size 10 too, and Times New Roman.

Reports that do not meet the requirements will not be published and the fees will not be returned. Diskettes with viruses will not be accepted.
